Ryan P. McManus is a Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Hemenway Trust Company. As a member of the Audit Committee, Ryan assists with risk management and corporate governance activities.

Ryan is also a Partner at Hemenway & Barnes LLP, where his practice focuses on fiduciary and probate litigation. He regularly litigates disputes between trustees and beneficiaries, will contests, and other contested estate matters. Ryan also serves as an advisor to individuals and families navigating complex or fraught issues related to the administration of estates and trusts. In addition to his probate practice, he maintains an active commercial litigation practice, advising business and nonprofit clients on governance disputes, contract actions, business torts, employment matters, real estate issues, and contested tax issues.
