Hemenway Trust Company is proud to sponsor the Summer Luncheon at the Colby Museum of Art. This year’s event will honor the artist David Driskell D.F.A. ’00 with the 2017 Cummings Award for Artistic Excellence and will celebrate Colby Museum’s summer exhibitions: Marsden Hartley’s Maine and Visionary Painting curated by Alex Katz.
The Colby College Museum of Art is a collecting and teaching museum dedicated to the preservation, display, and interpretation of the visual arts. The Museum embraces works of art from diverse cultures and historical periods, with a focus on American art, and commitment to collecting and exhibiting contemporary art.
