The Investment Associate will assist the investment team in the oversight of investment portfolios encompassing a full range of asset classes while acting as a resource for the Account Managers on all investment related matters. They will maintain positive contact with attorneys and staff and observe confidentiality of client and firm matters.
Job Summary:
- Assist in the ongoing review process for 1500+ managed investment accounts which are made up of individual stocks, bonds, and pooled vehicles (ETF, mutual funds and Limited Partnerships). Work closely with the Account Managers and trust operations to ensure to all accounts are managed in line with investment objectives, policies and procedures.
- Maintain and generate daily, monthly and quarterly reports for internal investment team covering widely held stocks, asset allocation, performance attribution and trading history.
- Work closely with the Operations group to ensure efficient and effective execution of investment strategy and performance reporting.
- Collect data from outside advisors / investment managers as part of the on-going due diligence process.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and one to three years relevant experience in the investment management industry.
- Experience working with individual stocks and bonds along with outside investment vehicles.
- Progress towards CFA Charter a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office, particularly excel, is required.
- Experience with performance measurement, FactSet or Bloomberg a plus.
